Painting the portrait is the passion of Soheir Morcos since childhood.. At age eleven, she started taking painting classes. Her love of reproducing the expression of the face and the color of the skin motivated her to improve her skills by pursuing her painting training, in parallel with her engineering career.
TRAINING
From 1995 to 2009, she studied with master artist Irena Korosec at BohemiArte and under her guidance, she began exploring the art of painting the human body using the classical technique of the old masters.
In 2013, she took some workshops in Vermont, with the painter Frank Covino.

MEMBERSHIP
She is also member of the « Portrait Society of Canada » since 2007.
Presently, Soheir dedicates all her time to her painting career. She has her studio in an art complex in Montreal.
